Meet Our Team

Glyn Meek

Managing Director

Glyn is a tireless seeker of perfection, occasional purveyor of wisdom, with a touch of mellow smoothness. He is an agent of change who basically specialises in convincing people to give a shit. Don’t let his clean lines and penchant for a full bodied (French) red fool you, he is an aggressive problem solver dedicated to producing results and loves translating complex situations into game changing solutions.

Glyn is a seasoned professional, a passionate leader with a proven track record and has worn every hat on the rack and leapt tall buildings in a single bound.

Throughout his career he’s had the pleasure to work with a multitude of startups, small and large scale organisations throughout the UK making the magic happen.

When Glyn is not getting on everyone’s nerves for showing up for work on time every day (so annoying), he can be found wandering aimlessly around his local golf course, upsetting the neighbours by playing (rock) guitar and trying to teach life skills to his 12-year old daughter, who you guessed it, doesn’t listen to Dad.

Glyn holds a Masters from Coventry University together with a degree in giving the milk out and cleaning the blackboard.

Tim Murcott

Business Development Manager

My role as business development manager for TBF is to further the business and be part of a team that is committed to making it grow. My approach is to offer new ideas for manufacturing parts by introducing new and exciting materials which offer an environmentally friendly, light weight and cost-efficient solutions to the ever-changing industrial world.

My Philosophy is that nothing is impossible to achieve, as it’s an opportunity to expand our personal capabilities, however, if it’s not feasible I also know when to say no.

I am business minded and offer a total transparent approach to dealing with customers and suppliers.

Mental awareness is something that I champion on a personal note, I have seen many professional individuals succumb to the pressures of an ever-changing stressful world and the devastation it can cause to families and loved ones. Mental awareness is something that many companies now are identifying the signs in their staff and putting things into place on how they can offer support ones who suffer.

On a personal note, I am a family man who enjoys socialising with family and friends and I love to make and create metal and wood art. I also have a passion for sports such as football and rugby which I used to play on a regular basis when younger and fitter.

Caroline Cuddy

Production Manager

After my Sports Engineering Degree at Loughborough University I started working for Tube Bend Form Limited as Project Design Engineer from July 2016.

I moved to the role of Deputy Production and Development Manager in December 2017 which was a really good challenge and helped me learn all the relevant skills needed to progress to the Production Manager role in Feb 2019.

I enjoy my role and work hard to ensure the Customers are happy and my shop floor employees are producing good, solid products. I have a ‘never give up’ attitude which makes me determined in the workplace and always endeavour to do my absolute best. In my spare time I enjoy socialising and meeting up with friends.

Phil Hewitt

Engineering Manager

I came straight out of university after doing a Chemical Engineering Degree and went into Manufacturing.

I started my career as an Estimator and then moved onto more customer facing roles. I then progressed to another business as a Sales Engineer but soon found an opportunity to really test and progress my skills as the Engineering Manager at TBF.

I now manage TBF’s businesses commercial activities, the company’s quality systems and also work with the Production team to introduce new projects onto the shop floor.

I work well in a team and am always willing to give my opinion to find the best way of doing things. I enjoy working with the Customers to get the best for all parties and love the challenges that new product development brings, especially the technical elements behind it.

In my personal time I like to keep fit by swimming, playing golf and football and love catching up with friends at the weekends.
